The Alternate-leaf Dogwood (Cornus alternifolia) is unique among the genus. A subtle, yet sophisticated understory shrub with graceful form, bold character, and significant ecological value.
We hope to embody these qualities.
A Natural Approach
Natural design prioritizes place-based solutions, opting for local plants and materials, embracing natural processes and reducing unnecessary environmental impact.
This is where Altwood’s approach differs from conventional landscaping practices. We create functional and beautiful landscapes that serve the client and contribute to the ecosystem in a positive way.
We seek to honour the existing landscape and leave every place better than we found it. We establish gardens for good.
Altwood offers landscape design, installation, stewardship and consultation. Learn more about how we can serve you and your landscape.
